Improved Performance When Loading The Patient's Timeline
Previously, when entering a patient's record, we would load the contents of all of the Notes in the Timeline, resulting in long initial load times. We now only load the contents of the Note's header upon first entry for all LOCKED Notes. The content of the Note will then load only when (and if) expanded. Unlocked notes will continue to load as they do today (expanded in full). We hope you will immediately recognize the faster timeline load times but also wanted to call out that expanding locked notes may take slightly longer since we are not front loading them. Our initial testing has shown a significant reduction in Timeline Load Duration and we are excited to launch this change.User Interface
Resend Telehealth Instructions
Customers will now have the ability to manually resend patients the telehealth instructions prior to a telehealth visit or after a patient has been checked-in, this will only appear on telehealth note types. This functionality will appear as the last options on the top right ellipsis dropdown of a telehealth appointment header. Since the telehealth instructions workflow relies on a telehealth appointment to trigger instructions communication, the new `Resend telehealth instructions` functionality will only appear in the dropdown if the note was created via an appointment.
Once a user has selected to `Resend telehealth instructions` the language will change to `Sending` to denote the correct status. Once the instructions have been resent, the language will change to `Instructions sent successfully`. If a user would like to resend the instructions more than once, they need to simply refresh the page and the `Resend telehealth instructions` will appear in the ellipsis dropdown.
For those utilizing the Permission Beta: This new functionality is under `change_note` permissions._
Bug Fixes
Fixes timezone issue when booking sequential visits
We have fixed a timezone issue when users attempted to book sequential appointments. When trying to book a sequential appointment, the time a user selects was showing in UTC time. We have made the updates to ensure this time is the user's timezone.
Supports One Duration in Scheduling Modal
The Canvas scheduling modal now supports having only 1 available appointment duration for all appointments. Previously there was a minimum of 2 options when structured reason for visit was disabled.
Prevents "414 Request-URI Too Large" Error in Task Panel
Previously, some customers were reporting a "414 Request-URI Too Large" error when using Canvas' Task Panel view. This release will address the error and remove the limit on how many search parameters a user can make in the Task Panel view.
Fixes FHIR Care Team Update Endpoint
Previously the FHIR Care Team Update endpoint inactivated all existing care team memberships and recreated new care team memberships based on the payload passed to the endpoint. However, some requests would error if there was an inactive and active membership for the same patient, staff, role combo. This release will update the existing membership for the patient, staff, and role combo rather than inactivating and creating new.
