An outstanding referral is a referral that has not been completed and populates in the Outstanding Referral Queue.

Step by Step
- Navigate to the Schedule View
- Locate the badge icons on the top right
- Click on the triple dot menu
- Select Outstanding referrals
TIP: The badge icon shows the total number of outstanding referrals.
- In the queue, the following is visible:

- patient name
- who they were referred to
- indication for referral
- requestor of referral
- notes
- internal comment

- Click on the patient name to be navigated to the patient chart
- Complete the referral
TIP: Refer to the outbound referrals article to review how to prepare an outbound referral
NOTE: A referral will automatically be removed from the list when a specialist consult report is imported in Data Integration and linked to the associated referral order. You can also remove open referral manually by clicking Ignore.

The referral request seems to show up to all users (via badge icon). Is the referral queue not tied to the "delegate" team?
